Description
High up on the mountains in the south-west of Honduras, a group of smallholder farmers come together at the Montecillos Mill to have their coffee processed. The steep elevation of this region provides cool evenings, which is ideal for coffee growing.
The mill has a focus on helping the farmers to achieve environmental sustainability and gender equality, whilst not interrupting the strong cultural roots of the producers’ way of life.
At first sip, this coffee brings sweetness and crisp stone fruit acidity. A creamy hazelnut body then brings balance to the cup. It’s got just the right vibes for these warm Summer days - for milk coffee and black coffee drinkers alike.
