Description
Some coffees just straight up slap you in the face, look you in the eye, and say 'HERE I AM!'. This is one of those coffees. What I love about this natural-processed coffee from Honduras though is that it manages to balance the boozy fruit vibes very well.
Las Acacias is a 5-hectare plot - one of several farms owned by Marquez. The farm is located in the La Paz region of Honduras. High elevation and cool temperatures are great conditions for growing coffee, slowing down the ripening of cherries for more unique cup characteristics.
Quite often these naturally-processed coffees can taste overly fermented, but this one is amazingly sweet and clean. It's the rum and raisin chocolate from your nan's cupboard, now in your flat white for your drinking pleasure.
