Description
We have been excited to drink this coffee since late 2025, but delays in shipments have seen it pushed back further and further. After finally arriving in Melbourne and making its way west to us, we can finally share the first of two great Rwandan coffees.
This lot from the Kabirizi Mill is produced by a number of smallholder farmers from the Gateko community. The washing station is run by COOPAC - a cooperative we have featured coffees from in the past. The coop now features 8000 members, who gain access to washing stations and help to improve their coffee quality in order to receive more money for their crop.
Coffees from this region are always well received by the Club. With rich volcanic soils and a proud history of growing great coffee, it’s amazing to finally have these lots in the roastery. Expect a lighter, sweet cup from this one - great as a black coffee or a double shot with milk.
