Description
Whilst coffee is a huge source of GDP for PNG, most of it is grown on very small plots of land. Much like Australia, there are an abundance of different cultural and linguistic groups, however most of the coffee growing regions are remote and have no access to the internet.
Namugo, the rainforest region where this coffee is grown, is filled with mountains and hills which makes for a huge variety of microclimates. Once the producers bring the cherries to the mill, they are sorted by quality and grade (size).
We are lucky to find hidden gems like this coffee! There’s a deep sweetness for your milk coffee, much like the brown-butter choc-chip cookies Ren made last week. Message us if you need the
recipe.
